More About Dr. Ananya Michera
Dr. Ananya Michera is excited to join the Marlton Dental Care family! Dr. Michera is passionate about providing comprehensive, patient-centered care, with a particular interest in restorative dentistry. She is also Invisalign certified and enjoys helping patients achieve healthier, more confident smiles through personalized treatment.
Dental Education
Dr. Michera earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry.
Residency
After dental school, Dr. Michera completed a one-year General Practice Residency at the Washington DC Veterans Affairs Medical Center. There, she gained valuable experience caring for medically complex patients and treating a wide range of dental needs in a hospital setting.
Continuing Education
Dr. Michera is committed to continuing education and regularly pursues opportunities to expand her knowledge and stay up to date with the latest techniques, materials, and advances in dentistry. She believes ongoing learning is an important part of providing her patients with thoughtful, modern, and evidence-based care.
Patient-Centered Care
Dr. Michera believes that great dental care starts with understanding. She takes the time to educate her patients about their oral health, explain the reasoning behind recommended treatment, and help them understand what they can do to prevent dental problems in the future. Her goal is to create a comfortable, collaborative environment where patients feel informed and confident about their care.
Personal
Originally from Virginia, Dr. Michera grew up there and has always considered it home. After getting married, she moved to the area, where she is excited to put down roots and become part of the local community. Outside of the office, she enjoys exploring new cities, discovering local coffee shops, and spending quality time with family and friends. She is always looking for a new place to explore, a great cup of coffee, or a recommendation for her next adventure.
